Hi, I'm Brandon Owusu Ansah, founder of Backyard Tech Support.

I started this company because I kept seeing the same problem. Homeowners and small businesses were confused by jargon, sold equipment they didn't need, and charged for quick fixes that never solved the real issue. I wanted to do it differently.

Before Backyard Tech Support, I spent more than 20 years in IT, including 14 in cybersecurity. Much of that time was spent securing banking and financial systems, where mistakes aren't an option. I hold the CISM, CISA, CompTIA SecurityX, CompTIA CySA+, and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certifications.

That work taught me technology isn't really about devices. It's about keeping people productive, protecting their information, and making sure things work when it matters most. Now I bring that same bank-grade security to homes and small businesses.
